I have been doing lots of travelling with horses. I found the horsemotels.com to have up to date and current list. Everywhere I have been was suitable and safe. Some better than others. However, I am going to check out the others that are listed here. This is great info. Thanks. Darla

You can look for fair grounds. Sometimes you can find them using internet search. Do a search for trail riding and there will be more info. Not sure why you need the hook ups each stop. There are rest stops here and there with corrals. One is near Albuqurque NM on I 40. I have seen others during my travels. In W TX on I 20 there is a truck stop with HUGE dirt parking lot. You can get your horse out there and even get some sleep. Truck stops usually have plenty of room to maneuver, get some sleep and move on but not always have an area to get horses out. You can get rest stop info by state on internet by going to each state you are going thru. Some rest stops say NO HORSES allowed out of trailers. Happy trails.

www.horsemotel.com I used this service several years ago when moving from Fla. to Nc. I was very pleased with it. This site offers places nationwide.
