We feed apple cider vinegar every day!
My friends horse had colic surgery about 4 years ago, they removed a stone about the size of a grapefruit. Part of the Vet's instructions was to give 1 cup of apple cider vinegar in his supplements every day because of the acidity to prevent buildup. There's 1% and 2% strengths.. we use the 2%. She noticed the decline in flies that first summer, as not only do they "sweat" it out on their coat, but it's in the manure as well. Cheap, natural fly control! So I started feeding it too.. and for $3 a gallon you can't beat the price!
