I was quite content after moving back to Indiana from Colorado....no ideas of dating or men! A neighbor kept telling me about this site and that I needed to join. After about a year I gave in and joined. Chat was soooo much fun in the days of Tim and Trew, Cloudy, Sutty, MJK, Stormy, Willie, and so many more. Then I had the blessing of being with Tim when he was diagnosed with cancer and helping him thru that. We stayed close until a couple days before he passed away...late night talks to help him get thru.
Then much to my surprise I met Mark....we had chatted some but didn't think a thing of it. He happened to be working near where I lived and ask me out to lunch. That was that...a tip of the cowboy hat, a proposal while horse camping at Brown Co. state park in Indiana, taking early retirement and away we moved to Texas. I have so many awesome, life time friends that I met thru this site. I stay in touch on the message board to keep up with some of them. This site has led me down a very interesting and good life stroll.
I so appreciate that the site is well monitored and kept clean and civil. Every person that I've met thru this site (only 1 exception) has been an amazing friend. I truly believe the Lord sent my final soul mate thru Es.

Yes'm, it's meant a lot to me. At a time when i was so alone the folks here welcomed me and gave me a place to come to to laugh, to care, and to love. That little ditty I wrote almost 2 years ago still holds true. Thank you, ES chat friends !

Yes it definitely has!! It was my first online experience since 2007 or something. We started with emails, continued with phonecalls and text messages, until I came to USA to study. I have never been so happy in my life. I was reborn and deeply in love. But we were not meant for each other, otherwise I would not be here writing this. He had been married 3 times, I had one marriage 29 years. Due to some unlucky changes in my life, I had to go back to my work and we are not officially a couple anymore since 2010. One year I have grieved and he will always be in my heart. I was ready to give this man the whole world. My love just wasn't enough for him. He always wanted more. I am back now here and I trust ES more than oter online dating sites, where I have had bad experiences. I still dream about finding a man who respects my love and is willing to share his life with me.

When I first found myself going through the big D after a long term marriage I was very lost and alone....
Good friends of mine who met one another on ES many years ago recommend this site to me as a way for me to find friends and get my feet under me again.
I had never been to an on line dating site and was super nervous about signing up. Quickly I learned I had found a community where many friendships could grow and felt like I had a new home among people who shared the common bond of horse lovers and understand what that world is about.
I have been very blessed to make so many lasting friendships through ES and have met ( in person ) a lot of truly wonderful people. Along the way there have been some blunders but those same good friends encouraged me and lifted me up through them.
There are not enough words to express my appreciation for Equestrian Singles for giving me a community of friends, a place to hang my hat, and for helping me to find my feet again.

I have found some wonderful friends on ES and I rank a couple as life-long family. But most important, I no longer ride alone in life's travels for I found a partner here. We just started talking in chat and not quite a year later I was moving her, and her fantastic horse, halfway across this country. It can happen.
Thank you ES..... Seeker 31

Over the years (I was an original member under a different name) I have made some VERY good friends ...and, unfortunately, have lost a few that will remain in my heart forever. I've left and come back a few times just to find that, even though there are lots of new people, those old friendships are still alive and well.
Thanks ES for giving me these wonderful people and lasting friendships! I couldn't have found them without you!!
